Senior Designer - Dealer, South Florida

We are now seeking experienced Senior Designer, for both our Miramar Headquarters and West Palm Beach Showroom. This is a commercial design position with availability for professional growth and career advancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design

• 5 – 7 years’ dealership experience

• Creative Thinker: Ability to quickly solve complex program requirements

• Experience with design concepts, programming, and space planning

• Systems and office furniture product knowledge required

• Dealership experience preferred

• Haworth experience a plus

• Ability to present design content to large groups

Responsibilities

• Work with dealership sales and clients to determine project scope, product selection, and to present design concepts

• Develop space plans, typicals, and renderings

• Create detailed furniture specifications and pricing

• Create photorealistic renderings

• Check plans for accuracy and compliance with local codes/ADA requirements

• Fabric and finish selections

• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• AutoCAD

• Project Matrix or CAP specification software

• 3D rendering software

• Photoshop

• Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

Design Assistant - Dealer

We are now seeking a design assistant, an entry-level designer position, for both our Miramar Headquarters and West Palm Beach Showroom. This is a commercial design position with availability for training, professional growth, and career advancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design

• 0-2 years’ experience

• Knowledge of design concepts, programming, and space planning

• Systems and office furniture product knowledge a plus

Responsibilities:

• Work with dealership designers to create renderings

• Prepare client presentation books and finish boards

• Maintain design resource library

• Support design and sales department staff with product and material research

• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

We are now seeking an interior design intern for both our West Palm Beach Showroom. This is an opportunity to receive commercial design experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare client presentation books/boards

• Maintain design resource library

• Work with designers, sales, and clients to determine project scope and product selection

• Develop space plans, typicals, and renderings

• Assist in creating detailed furniture specifications, pricing, and fabric/finish selections

• Support design department staff with product and material research

Requirements:

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in Interior Design

• Must be in favorable academic standing

• Expected to graduate within one year of internship

• Knowledge of design concepts, programming, and space planning

• Must be organized, responsible and able to take direction well

Skills:

• AutoCAD/Revit

• 3D renderings (SketchUp, 3D Max, etc.)

• Photoshop

• Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills
